I started university in civil engineering and spent four years in it, with internships at PCL Construction, Pennecon and the Canadian Coast Guard. Somewhere along the way I got hooked on investing, and in 2025 I switched to the Bachelor of Commerce in Finance to do it full time.
Engineering still shapes how I work. I like building from the ground up, so my models start from the drivers I can see, like plant capacity, mine output or contract backlog, and I want every number to tie back to something I can defend.
Today I'm a Sector Manager at The Fund, Memorial's student-managed fund, a Data Analyst on a private wealth team at RBC Dominion Securities, and a teaching assistant for Introduction to Finance. I also co-founded Commito, which helps businesses put AI to work on their everyday workflows.
After I graduate in April 2027, I want to start my career in equity research or investment banking.
